Thank you for making HALFTONE PRINT part of your work — we're grateful for every one of you. Everything here comes from a single goal: making the tool better for the people who use it. We improve it a little every day, big features and small refinements alike.

Below is what's new. Each entry pairs the technical detail with a plain-language note on what it means for you.

Live preview

The halftone preview now updates in real time as you drag sliders, rather than recomputing after each change.

In plain terms — adjust the dots, size, or colors and the preview follows your hand instantly — no waiting, so you can dial in the look by feel.

Black and white garment modes

Added dedicated halftone pipelines for both dark and light garment bases, switchable from a base-color toggle.

In plain terms — you can now prepare artwork for black shirts and white shirts alike; pick the garment color and the dots are tuned for that fabric instead of one-size-fits-all.

Organic dot jitter

Introduced controllable positional and size jitter in the halftone screen, breaking up the mechanical regularity of a fixed grid.

In plain terms — dots can now carry a natural, hand-printed randomness, so the result looks less like a machine pattern and more like real screen printing.

Much higher maximum dot count

Raised the upper limit on halftone dots substantially, allowing far denser, higher-resolution screens.

In plain terms — large or highly detailed images hold their detail; the tool can pack in many more dots before it runs out of room.

UI

Collapsible sample thumbnails

The sample-image thumbnails can now be minimized (closed), reclaiming that space for the preview so it reads larger and clearer.

In plain terms — a small tweak: tuck the sample pictures away when you don't need them and the preview gets more room to shine.

Improvement

Uninterrupted workspace

Restructured the site into two surfaces: the converter workspace opens secondary pages (pricing, FAQ, changelog, and so on) in a separate tab rather than navigating away.

In plain terms — opening another page no longer wipes your in-progress conversion; your work stays exactly where you left it.

Performance

Faster preview

Optimized palette extraction (k-means) so the halftone preview renders roughly 13× faster while producing byte-identical output.

In plain terms — the same result, but the preview appears almost immediately instead of after a noticeable wait.
